Licensure Support Scholarships Pilot

Engineers Canada and Practice PPE Exams have partnered to offer 90 free Competency-based Assessment (CBA) courses to aspiring women engineers to accelerate their licensing progress. This is a pilot program that is part of Engineers Canada’s 30 by 30 goal – to see 30 per cent of newly licensed engineers be women by 2030.

This program was first piloted in late 2025 in Prince Edward Island and the Northwest Territories and Nunavut. The pilot is now expanding to Manitoba, Nova Scotia, and Saskatchewan.

These scholarships are open to women in Manitoba, Nova Scotia, and Saskatchewan who have met the academic requirements for licensure and are looking to finalize their experience record. Preference will be given to those who have completed the National Professional Practice Exam (NPPE) and have started drafting their experience records. The first 90 applications that meet these criteria will receive a free CBA course from Practice PPE Exams.
